Warp Speed Ahead: Migrating from Planning 9.3 On-Premise to PBCS
See how a client migrated from on-premise version 9.3 to Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service for an application with 3 plan types. The project started with a clean-up effort so objects such as forms and reports were rationalized and only the appropriate objects were migrated and tested on PBCS. We then migrated from 9.3 to 11.1.2.3 on a lab environment and then to PBCS using LCM. The ODI interfaces were updated and Business Rules were migrated to Calc Manager. Previously, she held management positions in accounting, finance and IT at NBC Universal and Princess Cruises. Deanna’s experience encompasses over 17 years with Hyperion and four years with Oracle Financials with industry focus in Oil and Gas, Energy, Insurance and Financial Services, Health Services and Entertainment. She holds an MBA in Finance, a BS in Economics and is a former Certified Public Accountant. Deanna is also a certified implementation specialist for Hyperion Planning and Essbase and is a leader in the Hyperion community and a frequent speaker at user group conferences and webcasts such as ODTUG Kscope, Collaborate, OAUG Connection Point and Oracle Open World.
